User Information
Can I operate this bed by myself?
Each individual's situation is different. This bed may not be suitable for people with cognitive decline. Users must be able to use the bed alone or with minimal assistance to help prevent falls.
How do I operate the underbed lighting?
Simply press the middle button on the remote to turn the night light on or off.
Is it easy to assemble?
Yes! Assembly should take only 10-15 minutes. We recommend having two people as the bed is heavy to turn over.
1. Screw on legs to the frame using the provided Allen wrench.
2. Flip frame right side up.
3. Add the numbered panels for desired bed size.
4. Add your mattress.
5. Plug in the bed.
What size should I order?
With two sizes to choose from, you can rest easy knowing you will always have the right size. For persons 6" tall or more, we recommend the Queen size for the extra length.
What happens in a power outage?
You may use the battery back up to be able to bring the bed back to a starting position. Simply add a 9V battery when setting up the bed.
Modifications & Service
Can my Hi-Lo Bed convert to a different size?
Yes! Our full and queen sizes can convert to a smaller size if downsizing is needed. Just remove the extra panels in the frame.
- Full size bed can become a Twin size.
- Queen size bed can become a Twin or Twin XL size.
Does the Hi-Lo Bed come with a mattress?
No. You can use your favorite mattress of any kind with the Hi-Lo bed frame.
Can I attach a headboard to my Hi-Lo Bed?
No. Because the frame of the bed moves, you will not be able to attach one to the bed.
Can I put the Hi-Lo Bed inside of a bedframe?
We do not recommend placing the Hi-Lo Bed inside of another frame due to how low it can go. This may catch on the frame of your furniture piece and damage it.
Can I use a fitted sheet or mattress protector?
- Yes, you certainly can!
What is the warranty?
Your bed comes with a 10 Year Limited Warranty:
- Year 1 – In-home service with full coverage of parts and labor.
- Years 2-10 – Full coverage for all mechanical parts (but not shipping or labor).

Can I use Medicare or Insurance to pay?
No. We are not partnered with Medicare or any insurance company. We recommend contacting your insurance company to determine if they will reimburse you for the item.
How fast can I get my bed?
Shipping to the 48 contiguous US states. We have two delivery options available.
- Free Delivery: Fastest option. Please allow 1-2 business days to process your order and another 5-8 business days for shipping to your front door.
- White Glove Delivery: With Assembly. Please allow up to 5 business days to process your order and another 15-20 business days for shipping and scheduling of in-home appointment.

Are your beds sold in stores for me to see?
No. The EZ Out and Hi-Lo Beds are exclusively available online for direct delivery to your home.
Can I return the bed if I change my mind?
You may return any item if it has yet to be opened for a refund, less all shipping costs. All open items are final sale due to sanitary and hygiene considerations. Please read our Return Policy for complete details.
How does the White Glove Delivery with Assembly work?
This is an excellent option to avoid assembling the bed yourself. The freight carrier will bring your bed to your local area and hand it to a delivery agent team. They will then call you to schedule the in-home appointment. Delivery includes setting up your bed in the room of your choice and clearing all packaging.
